February – We are Vibrational Energy – the Vibration of the Heart

“Everything in Life is Vibration” – Albert Einstein

The Law of Nature states everything has a vibration. The Law of Vibration states that everything vibrates and nothing rests. Everything is made up of atoms that are in a constant state of motion, and depending on the speed of these atoms, things appear as a solid, liquid, or gas. These layers of energy create our physical being, but we also have layers around us that comprise our energetic, emotional, mental, and astral layers. There are studies of the interactions of these energies, including when they clash.

“From the standpoint of quantum physics, as we examine every smaller particle of matter – people made of cells, molecules, atoms protons/electrons, quarks, etc. – we eventually reach a state of reality where the smallest particles of matter, when broken further, do not yield smaller particles which we can put names on, but rather a universal energy matrix of relationships of vibration patterns. In actuality, there is nothing solid in the universe at all. Consciousness itself is a vibration pattern.” ~Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, D.C., B.F.A.– Center for Neuroacoustic Research.

We vibrate at varying frequencies, and we also have conflicts of energy with other frequencies.

When you feel irritated, it’s an off vibration, either yours or the other persons. It’s vibration, and YOU have the power(vibration) to shift it. We are awakening to the understanding of how vibration works and how all is connected through a vibrational network.

If you want to manifest(create) something, vibrate to that frequency. There have been studies of the human form and its impact on vibrational energy documented as early as 1928. The Buddha said, “anything that arises in the mind starts flowing as a sensation on the body.” If everything vibrates and vibration affects our life and our physical bodies, and we manifest based on those vibrations, how can we attract what we want in our life?

Vibrations of the same frequency resonate with each other, so like attracts like energy. As human energy, our vibration creates and magnetizes like frequencies to us. When we focus on a particular thought or idea, it will eventually attract its vibrational match. Vibrational matches include both high (happy) or low (sad) frequencies.

The strongest vibrational magnet starts with your emotions and how you feel about something. Whenever you are transitioning to something new or different, your emotions are releasing, expanding, and evolving. You may want to use the help of other vibrational frequencies to keep your emotional vibrational energy high. Music in the frequency of 432Hz works at the heart chakra, “the feeling,” and therefore could influence the emotional change in any situation. 432Hz is our actual heart frequency and, thus, can contribute to creating a sense of balance. 528Hz, according to Dr. Leonard Horowitz, is believed to have the ability to heal damaged DNA. It is also the Earth vibration, so a vibration of 528Hz grounds us to earth and all her natural healing abilities. There have been scientific leaps in understanding vibration. Studies in this area continue as science becomes more interested and evolves in understanding the impacts of energy on the physical bodies, emotional and spiritual bodies. 2023 is another LEAP year in Acoustic Technologies TM.

February is a great month to focus on emotions from the heart. Venus will move through Pisces into Aries in February reminding and illuminated for us, what we believe about our heart and relationships. The full moon on Feb. 5 will illuminate areas of the heart to either clear or expand. The full moon is in Leo, with an archetype of ‘I WILL.’ This energy is about also sexuality and eroticism, creative expression, and you’ll feel the force of proving to others ‘I WILL’. Address any illumination to areas of truth, things you’ve not wanted to admit, or the world to know. Free this energy so that you can focus on the pure vibration of the heart, and the real things you want to manifest in your life Love to all of you – from the higher dimensions of joy, bliss and continued balance of truthful love. Here are a few reminders to help you let go:

  • Let go of all thoughts that don’t make you feel empowered and strong.
  • Let go of feeling guilty for doing what you truly want to do.
  • Let go of the fear of the unknown; take one small step and watch the path reveal itself.
  • Let go of regrets; at one point in your life, that “whatever” was exactly what you wanted.
  • Let go of worrying; worrying is like praying for what you don’t want.
  • Let go of blaming anyone for anything; be accountable for your own life. If you don’t like something, you have two choices, accept it or change it.
  • Let go of thinking you are damaged; you matter, and the world needs you just as you are.
  • Let go of thinking your dreams are not important; always follow your heart.
  • Let go of being the “go-to person” for everyone, all the time; stop blowing yourself off and take care of yourself first … because you matter.
  • Let go of thinking everyone else is happier, more successful or better off than you. You are right where you need to be. Your journey is unfolding perfectly for you.

New Moon on Feb. 20 is in Pisces with the archetype of I Believe. It’s a time to believe in yourself, your actions and how you can be more present every day. To hear more about the planetary and energy influences of February list to What’s Up with the Energies of February

January 2023 – More Shift

Wondraing…… The Milky Way is said to be one of the billions of galaxies in the observable universe. It contains between 200-400 billion stars, the one most familiar to us being the sun which is believed to be middle-aged at 4.6 billion years. The oldest star in the galaxy is 13.2 billion years old – said to be nearly as old as the universe itself (13.8 billion years) – and the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old. These are all scientific best guesses. Distances are measured in light-years, and the Milky Way galaxy is believed to be 100,000 light-years in diameter. NASA continues to explore space. I find myself at times mesmerized by the images of space. The enormity, vastness and beauty are mind-boggling and challenge our imagination, yet this gives us a foundation of where we fit in.

We choose how we view our world. We can remain small, overwhelmed, and myopic, or we can choose to see opportunities and possibilities. If we believe we are composed of material from those very stars that inhabit the Milky Way, we know we are connected to Earth and the entire universe at all times, in life and death, and we are not small or limited at all. In space, as systems die off, others are created.

When we understand we are not separate from what is ‘out there’, but instead, we share energy, we realize the infinite possibilities that the universe demonstrates for us. The universe shows us beauty and dreams without limits. Only we put limits on ourselves. We put limits on our ‘bigness,’ we draw boxes around our possibilities until it ‘seems’ more logical to what is visibly present in our lives than what might be possible.  What if we could see beyond those boxes we’ve drawn? How far would we dream, soar, and join THAT space of vastness? What would that feel like?

We are preparing for another significant energy shift. Mother earth experiences this increase in energy and frequency first to support us, followed by plants, animals, and humans.  We’ve been working hard, shifting, clearing, and opening our energy ports, expanding our energy fields in preparation for ‘something’ to come. We’ve worked hard on our emotional bodies and aligned our mental processes to healthier emotions. We worked at changing our practices to align with those mental processes and new belief systems, and we are now preparing to externalize them in the world. We are surer. We know more about what we want and what we want to be a part and how important that alignment is for us. We seek for life change to be in an aligned being—body, emotion, mind, and spirit. Many can feel the shift of the energy in the air, the change in our energy fields. We ARE energy and have discovered it is easier to live aligned. We have found it painful to be misaligned. It’s time to build a future based on an aligned being. For most, 2023 will be the year of ‘going for it’. Dream big and build big in 2023 – and certainly LOVE big.

December 2022- That’s a Wrap

December is a perfect time to reflect on the current year, acknowledging wins/losses, growths, and where you might still be working. I pull Oracle cards for each month of the coming year and reflect on them while pondering what my next adventure might be. I have mixed emotions about leaving this year, yet I am excited about the year ahead. As much as I might want to leap into the future, we an entire month of powerful energy to navigate.

After nearly five months in retrograde, Jupiter moved forward on Nov. 23. Jupiter is an amplifier planet. It is considered lucky, but also about spiritual growth and expansion and how we understand ourselves in the world. It had been pushing us to explore our beliefs, motivators, and purpose. First, in the sign of Aries (I AM) and then Pisces (I believe) it tested our beliefs about who we are and what we believe to be true about ourselves, ultimately pushing us to reconnect with ourselves at a heart and spiritual level.

Neptune, the planet of dreams, illusion, and mysticism, urged us to also go inwards as it was retrograde from Jun. 25 to Dec. 3, 2022. Neptune’s, energy was dreamy, full of intuitive insight, and that made us feel a bit foggy on details of HOW to take action and accomplish our reality. Some fell into a time of escapism and addictive habits, while others took that time to heal and rejuvenate and plan. We had a choice of internal exploring and rejuvenation or destructive behaviors.

With these giant planets ending their backward motion, we feel ready to move forward in many areas of our life. Sagittarius (I AIM) and Capricorn (I USE) will push us to be more serious this season. Many have felt stuck for the past few years and are feeling the propelling energy to get moving.

New Moon in Gemini on Dec. 7 will create the opportunity for different endings. You may revisit a conversation or task you previously dealt with too lightheartedly. AIM with greater intent now and USE your gifts and skills that you HAVE. Stop wishing for something you don’t have and focus on what is present. You can’t shoot aimlessly at things in life; sooner or later, the universe will push you to focus,

or it will create the focus for you. We get help with this around Dec. 9, when Venus moves through Capricorn, and we’ll feel more clear, mature, motivated, and better able to set boundaries and direction. Jupiter’s move into daring and dramatic Aries (I AM) on Dec. 20 will cause a wave of confidence. Harness this to push yourself to new ambitious focused realistic goals. The Sun entering into hardworking, seriously attentive, and diligent Capricorn occurs on Dec. 21, the Winter Solstice, fostering practical and professional energy. Hold yourself accountable and develop your resilience during this time. Winter Solstice is another gateway to power into a new level of self-awareness and direction-setting energy. The holiday season is joyous, fun, and light-hearted, but a serious undertone is grounding us in real-life stuff this year. It’s not Grinchy; it’s the energy of Capricorn’s responsible, sensible push that provides potential.

Dec. 23 new moon in Capricorn adds more energy to remind us to use our gifts and skills to chase our highest aspirations with determination.  AND FINALLY – Chiron goes direct on Dec. 23. This asteroid oversees inner wounds and insecurity and ends its five-month-long retrograde. He’s been sitting in Aries (IAM) since July adding extra depth to your emotions that perhaps felt more volcano-like all year.  You’re likely to have a newfound sense of courage, self-love, and resilience at the end of this healing period.

On Dec. 29, anchor into helpful and grounded moments of reflection and reconsideration as Mercury retrograde begins in Capricorn. Consider whether your standards are set high enough and brace yourself for unexpected obstacles that will test your planning, preparation, and endurance as we enter the new year. November – New Phase Ahead

The picture to the right is the sunrise over Lake Superior, taken on my annual north shore wandering. I timed this trip with the powerful Full Moon in October and autumn seasonal changes. While tromping in the woods and listening to the crunch of leaves under my feet, I couldn’t help but notice how well nature lets go. Dead things need to fall away, and there is lost energy in trying to keep dead things living when the Universe is always making space for something new. There are natural cycles in everything. Sometimes these are ideas, projects, or dreams that have run their course, and the Universe is nudging us to move our energy elsewhere. The full moon of October, Pluto and Saturn turning direct, and the Solar Eclipse at the end of the month were all magic moments meant to give us insight and propel us forward into a new cycle. If you want to go back and revisit the planetary impacts of October, Read Here

November feels like it might be a month of cleanup as we are now in the position to re-assess our current projects, our approach to getting what we want, and what we desire our lives to be. We may feel more sureness in our direction, or it’s the sureness of the path we DON’T want to take. Mars retrograde energy means our drive will be more internalized, intensified, personalized, and perhaps pressurized. There can be passive-aggressive behavior during this time, which always is a good time to reflect and renew our self-care practices.

Prior to the November gateway of 11:11, November 8 is the Total Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, so we can expect some disruptions in those things we feel are our stability – finances, home, and personal relationships. Disruptions can, however, create the opportunity to approach an old situation differently. Use the Lunar light to show you how.

As I hiked some of my favorite trails along the North Shore, I was reminded of turning off and tuning in. Cell reception isn’t the best in the north woods and creates the gift of forced unplugging. I had my son’s 14-year-old dog along, and he reminded me there is always something ‘new’ to investigate every few steps. The Universe is like that. Always providing the opportunity to explore. We need to slow down and look. With the end of the year pressures ahead and any stress of the holidays, it is essential to play, unplug, and be present. Greet each sunrise as a day with new surprises and opportunities. With all great endings there are also great beginnings, and when we feel we’ve been challenged, the universe often offers us reward.

The Universe offers portals/gateways for us to explore, but the greatest portal is YOU. This month could be intense, but if you understand how to be in the energy flow, it might be a powerful month that helps launch you into 2023-2024. October 2022 – Planets Moving us Forward

We ended September with the New Moon in Libra, reminding us of the balance we need in our lives and who are the people that create and bring us to balance. The universe pushed us to leave the past in the past and decide what is healthy for our future. The retrogrades provide the energetic field for us to do any inner work, so when the planets move direct, we bring any internal change, external, into action. 2023 will be that opportunity for us to reach for those dreams and goals that got tabled for the last few years, but many of those dreams and goals can begin to be pushed forward in October. On the medicine wheel, we honor the bear and bear medicine. We think of the bear in fall, hibernation, sleep, and gathering in preparation for winter, but October has many planets moving direct, and we’ll feel this energy. It also is an excellent time for healing, processing, and planning. Here’s a layout for the month. For more details, listen to my Monday podcast, What’s Up with the Energies of October.

On October 8th, Pluto turns direct after retrograde motion since April 29th. He stays in Capricorn (I Use), and this intensity will give us a strong focus on acting on our ambitions and those things that help us feel empowered. This energy is not about hibernation but exploration, discovery, and action.

On October 9th, a Full Moon in Aries will be the energy that reminds us to consider how we are honoring ourselves in the context of our close relationships. New revelations can occur now, particularly regarding our physical bodies, leadership skills, ability to initiate and begin new things, and close partnerships.  On

October 23rd, Saturn turns direct, reminds us to take care of our responsibilities, and focuses on practical goals. With Saturn’s forward motion, our responsibilities, and perhaps our limitations, are magnified. Gradually, our longer-term goals and plans become more precise. Saturn remains in Aquarius; what we know to be true has been a gift of its retrograde.  On October 25th, the New Moon occurs in the sign of Scorpio, and it’s a partial Solar Eclipse, prompting a new beginning. Matters related to intimacy, control, power, money, and sharing will be the focus in the weeks and even months after this Solar Eclipse. This eclipse is about new beginnings in these areas. It’s the opportunity to strengthen ourselves from the inside out. The retrograde season is about internal awareness and bringing that awareness into actions and practice in the outside world. Jupiter remains retrograde but moves to the sign of Pisces on October 28th. Jupiter moved on from Pisces when it entered Aries on May 10th. However, Jupiter turned retrograde on July 28th, and it’s now returning to finish up its transit of Pisces until December 20th. Jupiter in Pisces encourages us to give of ourselves and embrace compassion and imagination. What maybe was started earlier in the year has a second pass or closure before we head into 2023.

On the 30th, Mars turns retrograde in the sign of Gemini and will remain retrograde until January 12th, 2023, entirely in the sign of Gemini. We are now in the position to re-assess our current projects, our approach to getting what we want, and what we desire our lives to be. Mars energy is essentially turned inward, internalized, intensified, personalized, and perhaps pressurized. There can be passive-aggressive behavior during this cycle. We may be instigating problems or arguments rather than dealing with issues directly. Awareness of this energy’s intensity can be an excellent time to learn more about inner motivations and desires. This month could be intense, but if you understand how to be in the energy flow, it might be a powerful month that helps launch you into 2023.

September 2022 – Processing the Past to cross the bridges to the future

Out of the heat of the summer season and into fall and supported by Virgo (I analyze). In the northern hemisphere, we begin to notice shorter days of sunlight. Cool days, frosty evenings, sweatshirts, football, colorful leaves, and our efforts to stretch the sunshine of the shorter days as long as possible. September Equinox officially marks the beginning of fall. In the Southern Hemisphere, we begin to prepare for planting season, and the days grow longer. We enter the season marked by the element of water, the energy of bear, a time to reflect and begin the gathering and harvesting in preparation for winter.

September, we have six planets and Chiron, all in retrograde. Things begin to slow down, and with the analytical push of Virgo, we are PROCESSING where we are, where we’ve been, and what’s ahead. The bridge we cross from 2022 to 2023 and the future can look ominous or exciting depending on how you are processing your personal road construction of 2022.

The impact of the retrogrades will help us process everything we’ve been constructing.

  • Jupiter: helps us find blocks that have kept us from expanding, exploring, experiencing life, and pursuing opportunities. Jupiter remains in Aries (IAM) until Nov. 23. Signs most impacted are Aries, Sagittarius, Aquarius, and Pisces
  • Saturn: more restrictive than usual but exposes karmic issues to work on. Remains in Aquarius until Oct. 23. We’re still learning lessons, but the signs most impacted are Capricorn and Aquarius
  • Uranus: slows down any significant changes, which can help stabilize and soften sudden significant changes. Uranus remains in Taurus until Jan. 2023. The signs most impacted are Taurus and Aquarius
  • Neptune makes reality cloudy and more challenging to grasp, but that forces us to use our intuition more. That push continues for all signs as Neptune remains in Pisces until Dec 3.
  •  Pluto provides an opportunity to adjust to massive transformations. Releasing the old and pushing new growth and our evolution in how we will live our lives and use our skills/gifts. Pluto remains retrograde in Capricorn until Oct. 8 – Signs most impacted are Scorpio and Capricorn
  • Mercury retrograde from Sept. 9 to Oct 2 in Libra (I balance). This planet goes retrograde 3-4 times a year, and it’s meant to slow us down and focus. This is the last Mercury retrograde for some years to impact Libra, and it will push us to focus on relationship issues that need to be addressed. This means Libra, Gemini and Virgo are reflecting on relationships, partnerships, and connections over the last few years. The Virgo energy could create more stress than usual so remember your go-to routines for rest, relaxation, and fun.
  • Chiron remains retrograde and continues to make us more introspective and reflective so we can remove blocks to healing. It’s not there to create pain but to help us release it. Aries, you are most impacted.
  • Mars goes retrograde October 30-Jan.12 in Gemini and that will bring continued changes for all. All the work we are doing now, clearing, understanding, creating boundaries and paths will help prepare us.

FULL MOON in Pisces on September 10th brings up awareness in health areas for Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces. If you have been avoiding something, it may be annoying until it is resolved. You must take care of the physical vessel for all other energy bodies to work well – your emotional, mental, and spiritual body. We are building from the past during this full moon, turning the past to help us move forward. Many of us will ask ourselves where previous years have gone, review our accomplishments and renew, or reaffirm what else in life we have to do. It is a period of spiritual search for one’s peace and harmony of past decisions with the present direction in mind. The energy is also about any decisions of moving forward, setting firm plans, and taking action to cross the bridge of the future.

We end the month of September with the New Moon in Libra, reminding us of the balance we need in our lives and who are the people that create and bring us to balance. What do we do to maintain a healthy balance in our life?

September will continue to be soul-work for us, and the retrogrades, moon cycles, and the fall equinox gateway will all contribute energy to push us along. Flow vs. Force is a mantra to remember as you navigate the pathways of September. Shine on -💖 Laurie

August 2022 – Heat and Heart

Who doesn’t like a good sunset or the colors of the morning sunrise, yet we often don’t pause long enough to observe and enjoy. August is known for its fiery energy from a temperature viewpoint as well as the fire of the soul. It’s the month of Leo, and Leo is known for their drive, passion, stamina, and creativity. Like the Lion who wants to rule the jungle, Leo is proud and loves to show it, so this month the universe allows us to practice being bold in our life. For each individual being bold will mean different things in different domains of your life. Home, family, relationships, health, wealth, career.

The sun in Leo correlates to a cycle of self-expression and self-actualization, and those realizations about self come through interactions with others. The universe will give us those opportunities for exchanges, which could be in the form of a challenge as a way to let go of old patterns. We see who we are through the eyes of others, but this year, we are roaring a bit more to be genuinely seen as who we are and not a version of what someone thinks we should be.

This awareness can be uncomfortable for us and sometimes for those around us. Others might expect you to show up as the old version of you, but you’ve shifted. Time to celebrate that shift and the growth that you’ve had. All transition isn’t easy, you’ve got some cuts, bruises, and scars from past battles, but this is a month you can check in on where you’ve been and the decision to not go there again.

August is the 8th month, and 8 is known to be the achiever and measures life by the goals it reaches. It has good business sense, a powerful presence, and a strong drive for success. The 8 is also a symbol of balance, and you can see it in its symmetrical shape.

A sideways 8 is the symbol of infinity, which is beyond – to infinity and beyond! Eight follows seven; there are 7 colors in the rainbow, 7 days of the week, and 7 diatonic scale notes make one complete octave, but what is after 7 – eight that which is beyond.

This month, we reflect back, but the desire is to see what is beyond. To look ahead means an expansion of consciousness. When you are aware, you grow and expand and know more about who you are and why you are here. That is consciousness; the fire within you is seeking more of that.

July 2022- Playing

I spent time in June playing. I wandered to Norway with a fantastic group of 10 women. It felt great to connect with people and go beyond my property, city, and country. Our adventure included big planes, little planes, trains, buses, ferries, speed boats, and electric mini cars and many amazing people along our path. July pushes our PLAY button and reminds us that we want adventure, fun, change and a balance in work, rest, and play. It can be hard to celebrate having fun when the world is struggling, and the energy around us is low and hard. Playing does not diminish what we feel or see in the world nor distract us from the work we must do. It rejuvenates us.

As a country, we have gaping wounds that desperately need healing, focus, and action. We must act on fixing and healing those areas within our communities and us. We cannot lose sight of the changes that need to happen for our future, our children and our children’s-children’s future. We were at an airport when we heard the Supreme Court overturn the ruling. Tears, anger, frustration, disbelief, what now? What next? What rights are next to be challenged? The reality of the fight that is ahead of us. The fact to take breaks between the ‘fights’ we have before us. The rights of how we live, the rights for how others live. We were in Northern Norway when a shooting occurred in Oslo at a Pride event. The country was in shock. The many questions we were asked as Americans about our views, the perception that we all had guns, and the fact that the US is now ranked among the most dangerous countries. We have work to do. Peace, Love, Light, and Hope – but let’s not forget – We have work to do!

But… to have the needed energy and focus on change, we need to balance this with play, fun, adventure, and building that into our relationships. Life and living in the 3D world are work and severe enough without never allowing yourself a break for it. How we define PLAY is different for all.

July helps to remind us of our relationships, those we have yet to find, those we presently honor, and those we desire to fade into the sunset. The Universe will give you opportunities in all those areas, which can be serious work. We need to be in relationships that support us and our futures. It’s a very serious month, so balancing decisions with some playtime will be necessary. You may have planned playdates for your kids but might not think to do the same for yourself.

Play, adventure and fun create energy that elevate us, and helps us during times of change and struggles. Explore, be curious, ponder the possibilities. Frustration creates momentum to change. Change creates opportunity for our future. Define your future and create THAT change.

Call in Archangel Michael to help with change, courage, strength and alignment of our Soul.

Photo above was taken from a recent trip to Norway. It is the Midnight sun, sea eagle in flight- this is after Midnight in Norway,300 km north of the arctic circle and 300 km north of Iceland and the sun begins to rise. We too can begin to rise. Shine on

June 2022 – Sun of Summer

June will continue to be an eye-opener for us, and it’s not going to be the easiest month. We want to play, enjoy the weather, while the universe pushes us in an ever-changing direction. What will help us this month is remembering that these energies are prepping us for a large upshift in creative consciousness that will require strength and courage to move forward.

June is the sixth month, with the collective numerology of June 2022 being the number “3”. The energy of “3” carries the power of:

  • Self-expression, Fertility, Wisdom, Harmony, Creative power and Unseen energy

In Laurie’s May 23rd podcast – Universe Codes and Keys from Solar Flares and Universe Portals, She talked about how Solar storms create an energetic portal that allows rapid energy travel between dimensions of two distant locations in the universe, for example, from the Sun to Earth. Portals can bring life-changing transformation with the opportunity to experience a conscious awakening, limitless possibilities, higher wisdom, and increased levels of love and understanding. They are a tremendous opportunity to align with the universe’s energy and manifest abundance. This summer, we access the Sun’s energy and possibilities to change. The universe is persistent that we change and why it does not feel like the easiest month. Reality is glaring before us, and we can’t avoid shifting.

Anytime we receive new coding from the universe and release the old programs, we need time to integrate. In software development, you test for bugs and issues and resolve them before going live. In our human experience, we need to do similar. Test for bugs, make corrections, and become familiar with these new pieces of our being before we show them to the world. Most of this integration happens naturally during the retrograde season, which we are entering now. Still, it’s a bit unnatural as it’s summer, and we want to be outside, in the Sun, exploring and experiencing, when the energy may be anchoring us more to internalization.

You don’t want to sleep or be numb during this fantastic growth period. As you are leveling up a few things to remember on how to make productive use of this energy by:

  • Letting love in
  • Emotionally detoxing
  • Spending time connecting with your passion and purpose
  • Connecting deeper to your intuition, inspiration, clarity, and truth
  • Purifying the body through exercise, drinking fresh fruits and vegetable juices, smoothies, water, and tea

We always have the balance of the forces. Look for that, see it, embrace it – the universe isn’t going to hang you out to dry as you go through many transitions. It is time to get clear about your values and beliefs to make choices that will help you stay true to who you are.

You’ve done all this work in preparation, now, trust the process and know that your frequency, clarity, and state of alignment are the most powerful things in your life that you have to create.

Mantra: My focus is present because today, I begin my tomorrow.

May Spring and a time to Grow Something New

The pounding started early this morning and woke me from my ‘sleep-in-morning.’ My fuzzy brain tried to tune into where the sound was coming from. Perhaps a neighbor was getting an early start on a backyard project, or was my deck crew returning to fix a few spots?

Walking down the hall, I realized it was coming from the upper level at the front of the house. As quickly as having that realization, I came to eye level with a robin tapping the window. He’d fly into the window, sit on the ledge and tap away. Now my fuzzy brain cleared with the encouragement of two loudly meowing cats to SAVE THE ROBIN. I grabbed the extendable brush used to dust that second-level window; today, it would be used to scare the robin away.  My thoughts now moved to: what reflection might he see at that window – there are no trees that would create an inviting place to land. Perhaps a spider in the corner of the window he was trying to reach? I quickly swept across the 6-foot span of glass to clean away that possibility. Was this robin mad because there was no birdfeeder this year, was he trying to scare the cats, was he sick, or just confused about this plate of glass in his way? Was it a message? My mind was problem-solving at a rate pretty fast without any morning caffeine.

SAVE THE ROBIN! Talk to the robin and encourage him to leave. He was persistent. Using the extended pole with a huge fluffy bright blue brush on the tip, I’d scare him away. He’d fly down to the bush outside the front door, where I’d then go outside and wave my arms to get him to fly off into the trees. But a few minutes later, he’d be back. This continued most of the day. I’d scare him from the second-level entry window with the big brush, go outside and wave him away from the bush…. and finally, he stopped and flew away. The problem-solver in me continued to process and wonder. Was it a sun reflection and the sun had come up enough that the angle of something attracting the bird was now gone? Was there a spider or bug on the inner ledge that I’d cleaned away? Was he just a juvenile robin having some morning fun, or did he deliver his message? Was he to be the content of this newsletter or clean that six-foot window?

My pondering brought me to a place of all the possible solutions it could be. From the moment I woke from the tapping sound to being totally awake after running up and down the stairs dozens of times. Our brains are marvelous things that we don’t think about the work it goes through. It automatically shifts into solutions and possibilities while taking in the environment. In the absence of an answer, it creates one while still assessing what it could be. We feel uncomfortable without a solution or result. We want to know. We push for answers until that twinge of unrest is satisfied. A world with an overwhelming unknown can create stress, anxiety, and sometimes depression; for some, it pushes you to check out and not engage.

Robins are synonymous with Spring. Robin energy means east, new beginnings, the rising of a new day, and a time to plant seeds. It’s a time to let go of anything in your life that’s stagnant, outdated, or simply no longer needed. Share your songs-messages with the world. My message for you is – It takes more than just planting seeds. They require focus, nurturing, and care. Be curious about all the possibilities of this changing world. Change can be uncomfortable but also necessary.

On April 29th, Pluto goes retrograde in the sign of Capricorn. This transit lasts for about five months and can illuminate any issues we have in our habits, patterns, and relationships, especially when it comes to the point of power. Pluto was here in 2019. The archetype of Capricorn is ‘I USE,’ so it creates the opportunity for us to question our life and any skills we have or desire to have. Plan for some ego struggles in this timeframe – death and rebirth, so you have to see it to shift it. Pluto retrograde can be a spiritually rewarding and transformative period, and it could be some things we didn’t learn coming back to give us a second shot.

The Solar Eclipse in Taurus on April 30th creates an energy flow that can be felt for up to six months. The archetype of Taurus is I HAVE. So this includes matters related to personal finances, values, ownership, physical and material resources, personal possessions, feelings of worthiness, desire for safety and security, resistance to change, comfort, sensuality, and familiarity will be a strong focus on a personal level. This eclipse is about new beginnings regarding and strengthening our sense of security in all these matters. It is time to re-evaluate our relationship with money and possessions and discover what makes us happy and fulfilled. It may be time to consider new ways of increasing our income or earning power and taking charge of our possessions and finances.

Concentrate on what to do to increase your feelings of self-worth. Get in touch with what you value and want in your lives—end things or situations that do not contribute to your feelings of worthiness. Have courage and trust your wisdom. It takes more than just planting seeds. Grow something new!
