August - Retrogrades, and Gateways of Fall

Spirit is keeping us busy - I know I've been busy! With the pressure to clear, expand, change, and absorb new, the Universe is giving us opportunities. My calling continues to teach, speak, explore, and be available more for those experiencing this time of transmutation. Transformation can be confusing and challenging, but it doesn't have to be hard. The Universe supports us, and the journey feels more difficult when we resist or hold on. Answers, pathways, and loving support is available for us.

August is generally known as the eighth month. However, August's collective numerology for 2024 is "seven," representing creativity, practicality, knowledge, and wisdom. We can experience Chakra awakening and expansion. We'll feel the desire to uncover hidden truths and seek truth within ourselves, as well as those events around us. It is a time of profound spiritual enlightenment through examination of character, discerning fact and story. This month will call for us to be aware of what we are consuming, and digesting. Not necessarily food, but what emotions, and mental beliefs are we consuming and processing. It'll be a great month to detox physical, emotional, mentally and even spiritually. The Universe is calling for a reset through the retrograde season that will have us reevaluating, realigning, reflecting and redoing what might be better for us.

We are in Leo season and the Sun of Summer. The Sun in Leo correlates to the cycle of creative self-expression and self-actualization. In this lifetime, your creative self-actualization comes through learning the lessons through creating and showing the world who you truly are. The last two full moons in Capricorn urged you to reevaluate and figure out your gifts and how you might use them.  

The Sun is the ruler of Leo. Leo rules the 5th house - Pleasure and creativity, as sexuality and creative expression. Leo-ruled body parts are the heart, upper back, spine, spleen, and aorta. The Sun rises in the constellation of Leo from August 9 to September 15, creating the Lion Gate and another opportunity of choice for change.  

On August 22, we'll be moving into Virgo season. While the earth energy of Virgo brings healing, organization, attention to detail, and long-term planning, Leo's fire energy signifies change, transformation, and new beginnings. As we feel Virgo's energy later in the month, we will be more focused on our mastery. Virgo and Leo teach us to pursue our soul's desires and goals while remaining grounded. This month will be charged and provide the perfect challenges for this season.
