This is a handmade necklace. The pendant is a real sliced brown sea shell with a compressed cinnabar bead in the shape of a flower, all strung on deer leather lace.

Sea Shell: Represents the serenity, peacefulness, calm and stable energies of the ocean coupled with the fierceness and chaos from the ocean storms. Even though there are two sides to the ocean and its energies, sea shells help bring and keep the balance between the chaotic storms and the calming waves.   

Cinnabar: Known as a stone for manifesting wealth, and has been labeled the 'Merchants Stone'. This stone is also powerful for awakening mystic vision. It helps reignite one’s inner fire to empower one’s self to go forth and attain one’s goals and desires. It helps to open the base chakra and is the birthstone of Leo.

Most Necklaces I make are very long and actually to big for most people. The ends of the leather used for the necklaces are knotted twice and can easily be cut and retied so you can easily make the length of the necklace shorter to best suit your look and body type. The reason I did this, is so my hand made necklaces can fit anyone. It is best to have the necklace to long, yet easily resizable, then to be to small and unable to be resized at all.
