Druid Woman depicts a woman druid riding her grizzly bear companion through a magical forest at dusk. She guides the way with the light from her magic staff as her and her bear walk through what seems to be a small fairy village tucked within the trees.

This piece was a lot of fun to make. I took inspiration from the DnD (Dungeons and Dragons game) class, the Druid. Druids are people who live amongst nature in a symbiotic relationship. They are healers and warriors of the land that fight for and protect Mother Earth. Druidism is an actual practice in the real world as well. Although a real druid cannot summon vines, or turn into animals, real druids do carry the ideology of protecting and caring for Mother Earth. They take only what they need, give thanks for what they do take, and do so with respect and dignity. They understand the cycle of life and how all living creatures abide by it.
