June 2023 – Force vs. Flow

For the first 18 years of my corporate career, I worked for a high-tech global organization that manufactured devices that senses and measure temperature, pressure, and flow. Here I learned the science and depth of process engineering, process improvement, six-sigma, and force vs. flow. In my personal life, I was seeped in the transformation of the force and flow of energy. Science meets meta-physical, and the similarities are immense. There are times in our life when we must force movement on something to create change, and there are times we must allow flow to see the natural movement of energy. What is the greater plan, the plan we are not yet able to see or understand? 

I’m asked how to discern when to idle and when to push. It’s our biggest challenge when faced with the desire or the need to move. Our emotions and analytical processes begin to battle, often creating more confusion vs. a simple answer. I remember the frustration when being told – to get in the flow and not understanding HOW to get there. I thought I had to DO something to move into that flow. My later wise self would say what are you not allowing to happen organically? Where is the force of fear or self-doubt inhibiting you from being in a natural state of joy and abundance? 

The picture of the unripe tomato reminds us that there is a season and a time. There are ‘things’ that need to be done and things that help us get ready. If it’s not time, we aren’t ready. 

The Universe encourages us to be bold, fearless, and unapologetically ourselves. We step out of our comfort zones and explore new horizons within ourselves and in our external lives. Expect the unexpected and trust you CAN navigate the twists and turn. You are growing, expanding your perspectives, learning, and becoming more resilient.

This month, we will feel more connected to our truth, authenticity, and emotions. June 2023’s collective numerology carries the “number four” vibrations of self-confidence, practicality, stability, strength, security, and transformative potential. So what are you transforming? What is the truth of where you are now and where you’d like to be? Are you ready for that transformation, and if not, how do you get ready? What is the Universe SHOWING you that will help prepare you, and are you saying YES to it?

June encourages us to establish stability in our lives, examining the solidity and security of our foundations. It prompts us to assess our routines, systems, and structures, identifying areas that require strengthening or modification. This is an ideal time to take stock of our finances, relationships, and career paths, ensuring that we have a solid footing in these essential areas of life that prepare us for the future and that season where we ARE ready.

April – Blueprints for a different future!

April is the fourth month of the year; however, the collective numerology of April 2023 carries the “number two” vibrations of duality, harmony, balance, and inner peace. It also holds the rhythmic vibrations of cooperation, trust, and faith and connecting with your higher being to understand more of your divine purpose. 

It’s a month softer yet infused with more energetic magic and challenges that will feel intense and invigorating to others. It’s a month of initiation. A Full Moon in Libra on April 6 will help balance the intensity of the leaving March energy with balance, harmony, and beauty. It is a month that will allow us to seek meaningful connections and relationships with those around us. We enter Mercury pre-Retrograde begins April 7, giving us a precursor of what the energy in full force will feel like after the Solar Eclipse.

The Solar Eclipse is on April 19 in Aries, and the sun moves into Taurus four hours after the peak Eclipse, providing more opportunities for new beginnings and profound transformations. This Eclipse reminds us to be agile, flexible, and welcome change. Taurus season begins April 20, and the full force of the Mercury retrograde begins April 21. The bull will want to push forward where we don’t feel secure, stable, and comfortable, but April’s retrograde and energy will remind us to be in Flow vs. Force. April is another initiation month for our emotions and mental bodies to align. We begin to put pieces together and have visions of the potential outcome. We WILL evolve, but evolution is more straightforward when we are aligned and follow a plan. It requires trusting in the universe and remembering that challenges can be hidden opportunities. 

Where March may have showed us where we most needed changes to our relationships, homes, communities, careers, or things we needed to leave behind – April pushes us forward on a path we might need a clearer vision of. The universe will provide a more precise path and plan, provided we are open to it and wait for it—more flow vs. force.  As humans, it is normal to want it all NOW, and we may feel frustrated if we have to wait, but we are building stamina and stability for our future selves. Use creativity, play, and joy to build a better future, and remember, in doing so; sometimes you need to wait for all the pieces.

March 2023 – Pluto and Saturn make their move!

For lifetimes our ancestors and astronomers have looked to the skies for direction, tracking, and inspiration. We’ve studied the stars and the planets. We’ve built practices and ceremonies around them, like new and full moon celebrations. But we continue to learn. Pluto changes signs every 20 years and Saturn every 2.5 years. BOTH are changing signs in March. Pluto moves into Aquarius and Saturn Pisces.

Pluto was discovered in 1930, so it has a short history of its impacts, but we do know that the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was between 1778 and 1798, a period of uproar and change all over the world. Pluto is about death and rebirth, and it’s been in Capricorn for the last 20 years. Here’s a simple map of how it will transition into Aquarius while still bouncing a bit back to Capricorn during retrogrades:

Saturn moves into Pisces on March 7 and stays there until May 23, 2025, when it enters Aries. Saturn has been in Aquarius since December 2020. Saturn in Pisces is our chance to get clarity around our most profound dreams and those areas of our life that come to a natural end. Pluto will help with those endings. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. While Pisces is not ending energy for everyone, there is nevertheless an expectation of bringing to the highest degree of manifestation some of the projects we’ve been working on for decades. 

Saturn is karma, shadow, and pushes us deep for lessons and learning. Pisces is comforting, wise, and artistic, sometimes making us feel fuzzy or floaty. What might this energy mean for us? 

Saturn is cold and dry, and Pisces is watery and emotional. 

Saturn is strict, and Pisces is soft. 

Saturn indicates subtraction, Pisces addition.

It is and will continue to be a time of internal and external change. When forces externally change, it pushes us to change our responses, view, and, most importantly, our beliefs. When the planets are in their normal forward motion, there tends to be more external change – society, community, and global. When the planets go retrograde, the universe gives us time to respond to those changes – reflect, review, and respond once we are in forward motion again. 

March will show us where we most need to make shifts and changes. World events will force the movement of populations, responses to global needs, and different planning for future needs for housing and food sources. Individuals continue to look for their communities for these coming changes. I will share more insights this year on how we and our world will change and how we can navigate the energy of change.

June 2022 – Sun of Summer

June will continue to be an eye-opener for us, and it’s not going to be the easiest month. We want to play, enjoy the weather, while the universe pushes us in an ever-changing direction. What will help us this month is remembering that these energies are prepping us for a large upshift in creative consciousness that will require strength and courage to move forward. 

June is the sixth month, with the collective numerology of June 2022 being the number “3”. The energy of “3” carries the power of: 

  • Self-expression, Fertility, Wisdom, Harmony, Creative power and Unseen energy

In Laurie’s May 23rd podcast – Universe Codes and Keys from Solar Flares and Universe Portals, She talked about how Solar storms create an energetic portal that allows rapid energy travel between dimensions of two distant locations in the universe, for example, from the Sun to Earth. Portals can bring life-changing transformation with the opportunity to experience a conscious awakening, limitless possibilities, higher wisdom, and increased levels of love and understanding. They are a tremendous opportunity to align with the universe’s energy and manifest abundance. This summer, we access the Sun’s energy and possibilities to change. The universe is persistent that we change and why it does not feel like the easiest month. Reality is glaring before us, and we can’t avoid shifting. 

Anytime we receive new coding from the universe and release the old programs, we need time to integrate. In software development, you test for bugs and issues and resolve them before going live. In our human experience, we need to do similar. Test for bugs, make corrections, and become familiar with these new pieces of our being before we show them to the world. Most of this integration happens naturally during the retrograde season, which we are entering now. Still, it’s a bit unnatural as it’s summer, and we want to be outside, in the Sun, exploring and experiencing, when the energy may be anchoring us more to internalization.

You don’t want to sleep or be numb during this fantastic growth period. As you are leveling up a few things to remember on how to make productive use of this energy by:

  • Letting love in
  • Emotionally detoxing
  • Spending time connecting with your passion and purpose
  • Connecting deeper to your intuition, inspiration, clarity, and truth
  • Purifying the body through exercise, drinking fresh fruits and vegetable juices, smoothies, water, and tea

We always have the balance of the forces. Look for that, see it, embrace it – the universe isn’t going to hang you out to dry as you go through many transitions. It is time to get clear about your values and beliefs to make choices that will help you stay true to who you are.

You’ve done all this work in preparation, now, trust the process and know that your frequency, clarity, and state of alignment are the most powerful things in your life that you have to create.

April 2022 – Review and Renew

March and Zodiac sign of Aries is the beginning of the astrological year. It is spring in the northern hemisphere when we welcome the first day of spring, the return of migrating birds. We feel spring fever and long for days of warmth and sunshine. It is the time of year that the Universe urges us towards new beginnings and assessment of our past only as we create space for our futures. It is a time of renewal. The world is at a time of needing ‘NEW.’


When I was born, I had a plan, purpose, destiny, but I had no idea what an adventure or challenge life would bring. I had no idea the beautiful people I would cross paths with and those that would provide those valuable learning opportunities. I had no idea this love and support would surround me on my journey. I had no idea how I’d travel, see, learn and then again find that sometimes I’d want to be home by the fire, curled with a book and a fur baby on my lap. I had no idea the Universe would both challenge and gift me with experiences that would fill my life with immeasurable richness and challenges of the world that tugged at my heartstrings. But each day, when I rise, I acknowledge how very blessed I am.   March, for me, is a natural time for me to assess my life. The Universe is pushing us to be present and experience life at a slower pace with fewer distractions, which is difficult when things around us seem to be busier, more chaotic, and certainly faster. It feels we have to focus more on the present and all moments that exist now. Present-day, we are redefining the work environment, our playtime, and what is essential.  


When we are unsure of the future, we assess our lives more. The reality of what was important in our 20’s is not the same when we are in our 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, or beyond.  What is happening in the world impacts our presence in our lives and what and where we focus. We are looking at our visions and dreams for what our future might look like. How do we want to use our senses, emotions, gifts of intelligence, and spiritual wisdom for our life, and where can we contribute to the world for what the world needs now? We are becoming more aware of our actions on ourselves and others. We are becoming more aware of what is most important.
If you find you are struggling with the present energy, create space for the Universe to show you what you need to do or what might be next. Focus on flow vs. force by allowing more space with less rigid planning. This chapter of change we are in will continue for quite some time, and to become as peaceful as we can with change, is to find peace within. Life will force us to be responsible, focus on our actions, and support each other, but we can balance the pressure with more time in nature, more meditation, music, laughter, rest, quiet time, and doing things that help bring joy to self and others.  
Just a reminder of the dates of the upcoming eclipse season. Eclipse season urges and reenforces change. The solar eclipses will signal newness, and messages of the drive forward, while Lunar will bring emotions and illumination or changes to what we think we should be doing. If you are feeling I should begin or stop doing…… then that answer will become clearer for you as the year continues.

March 2022 – Perspectives

Many of us may be feeling sadness in our hearts that we’ve lost heart connections and relationships with others. Others have mentioned this sinking feeling of numbness of the overwhelming pressure of the world, potential war, recession, and global impacts. It’s a year of relationships and adjustments. The relationships we have with ourselves and others. A continued time of learning how we and others ‘are’ in the world. Seeing things from a different angle can often turn a situation into a completely different scenario. We all look at the world through different eyes, sometimes we may need to try a little harder to see the world with someone else’s view. The universe will always deliver those opportunities to test our view with the purpose of shifting our perspective to be different. It’s time to be different. 

In the Medicine Wheel, East is the direction that represents new beginnings, springtime, and the place before birth and of birth. It is where we begin anew, over and over again. When you find yourself in the East, you can be sure that something has ended and that you stand on the doorstep of a new beginning, whether you want to be there or not. This March, we stand facing a new beginning. It is the best time to identify, illuminate and clarify, seek vision and inspiration, and locate your unique path. Each time you need to understand a situation in your life, you will return to the direction of the East. As you stand in the East, you face the West, which is the direction of healing and learning from your experiences. The universe encourages us to use our past to direct us forward. You may not understand what you are looking at, or what you’ve experienced. First, it may feel shrouded in darkness, but illumination will come when you begin to pay attention to everything in your physical, emotional, and spiritual being. Clarity can come, just like the season of spring and movement from darkness to light. The universe will illuminate our path. It urges us to take one step at a time and view it from a different perspective.  

2022 powerful Eclipse Season is soon upon us. Solar (Sun) is masculine mental energy, while Lunar(moon) is feminine emotional energy. Taurus archetype is ‘I HAVE,’ and it reminds us to use what we have, acknowledging where you are and what you have – home, security, or things that make you feel secure. It reminds us to be present. Scorpio’s archetype is ‘I DESIRE.’ It is a time to reflect on misalignment with what we have and what we desire. The universal energy to manifest what is missing or out of alignment. We have about 18 mos. of this dance of what we have and desire. We can expect changes, or nudges to change leading up to the Aries eclipse in 2023. What we think we should have, or should be doing, pushed up against the reality of what is. This will not be a ‘feel good’ time for some, but it is meant to helps you align to our soul and not the human experience of false expectations and unachievable visions. It is the soul-reality.

July 2021 – Freedom, Practices and Decisions

This word means so many things for many people—the freedom of our country, speech, equal living and working environments, choice, and more. Our evolution is pushing us to explore where we feel restricted or roadblocked and to MOVE those restrictions. Our quest for better alignment in our relationships, careers, health, education, political and judicial systems are top of mind as the Universe gives us gateways to a better future… if we make changes. 
It’s the summer of ‘gateways’ that will open and close for many until the processing time of the retrograde season is behind us and the last Eclipses of 2021 are complete. Could 2022 be a new frontier for you? That might depend on what you are learning now, letting go, and allowing in. The Universe has many good surprises ahead for us – when we are ready. 

So much of the energy (retrograde) is about shifting our plans, so at the beginning of October when most the planet are back to their forward movement, so are we ready to move forward. Most of the forward motion is deciding to rid ourselves of anything that creates ‘drag’ in our path. Things that are slow or slow us down make us feel edgy to just-get-moving, when the Universe is saying, you-might-need-a-better-plan-first. Delays can be frustrating, but you’ll be more aligned and ready when the Universe provides the perfect timing. 
It is what it is, but it will become what you want it to be.

May 2021 Musings

If I were to put in a few words what we might be feeling, they might be ‘Let’s get going, ‘What next,’ or ‘What now.’ On the heels of Pandemic fatigue, the green buds of spring, and pushes from the stars, we are ready for change, and we will see changes in ourselves, those we interact with, our communities, and our environment. It’s impossible not to change after these transformative past few years. The question we all seem to be wondering is, are we done? Honestly, we are just beginning.  

Since 2017, I’ve been watching and talking about how the Pluto transition creates this mammoth window of change. Pluto is about death and rebirth and the opportunity to create something better. It’s an outer planet, like other outermost planets that we acknowledge in astrology like Saturn, Uranus, Jupiter, and Neptune. It will impact our external systems, like our education system, judicial system, our financial industry, healthcare, environment, infrastructure, and the structure of what we know in our communities. Change in these areas will impact us as we adjust our emotions, and our mental processes and filters shift to match our new experiences. The stories that we long held as truth are no longer truths. We struggle to find the absolute truth and the foundation for a way forward.   

Over the United States, Pluto doesn’t hit a 0-degree point until 2024, so this means we have more change ahead.  How we approach changes will matter in our experiences. 

Pluto will be retrograde from the end of April until early October. This retrograde allows us to take what we are experiencing in our outer world and internalize, sift, sort, and embody personal changes. This time is about understanding our internal power, our divine light, and doing something different with it. When Pluto moves direct again in October, we will be ready to take those newly found internal truths out into the world. Taking what we are experiencing external in the world and changing internal – that cycle of internal to external will continue to the pathway of change. I’ll cover more about this opportunity window in my May 3 Podcast.  

Some simple tips on how to navigate change
– Develop practices that support you – exercise, healthy nutrition, music, meditation, activities that you enjoy
– Develop your circle of support – people that vibe at the same frequency that you do
– Look for the changes as an opportunity to learn, change or shift, or assisting others in the process of change
– Trust the soul knows the path
– Be aware of your personal coping tools as they may need to change
– Ponder yourself – your emotions, your thoughts, your beliefs, why you do what you do
– Work on healthy communication – not all talk but also effective listening
– Participate in change that will make a difference in tomorrow.

March 2021 Forward

In March 2020, I wrote that 2020 would be a pivot year for many people’s beliefs, processes, and systems that just weren’t working anymore. It was going to create space for us to decide what our future might be. Most of us continued to pivot. Most of us continue to shift and review what matters to us most, what goes forward with us, and how to ‘march’ forward. Evolution is change whether we want it or not. This time last year, we were in the infancy of change. None of us could predict the level of change we’d each experience. We’ve worked hard to define our new normal, and now with spring upon us, we feel the sunset of the darkness of last year and winter and the sunrise of 2021, and the emergence of the soul.

This month gives us wonderful opportunities to advance, flourish, and move forward as dreams begin to bloom. The number “3” vibrations of March represent the Holy Trinity of love, life, and wisdom. It marks the beginning of synthesis and the reconciliation of the body and mind connection fused by spirit. March’s motto is “I believe, I am that I am, therefore I create.”

The clouds and feeling stuck are clearing, and we feel the pressure to move forward through doors that are now aligned with our soul’s blueprint. March is where past, present, and future collide, bringing us to the start of a brand new astrological year and spring equinox. (Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac) All this amazing energy signifies a time where creativity and new life are high. When opportunities come your way this month, will you freeze in fear? Will you fight change? Or will you fly and trust that a higher power is leading your life to new places? Each moment you are given a chance to make a new choice and alchemize the emotions of fear. It’s up to you to seize that chance.We are wrapping up old cycles and beginning anew.


This energy will help you clarify what has happened in the previous months and what you should be doing next. You are being called to step up and embrace your calling by letting your higher self-lead the way. March marks a massive transition and turning point that alters our current foundation. We can no longer repeat the same stories. We came here to create new stories, inspire love, and live freely.The realization of a higher power within has set in, and we understand we will never go back to the way things were. That way of “normal” no longer exists. We are responsible for that new beginning and adopting a clear vision to build a new world. Are you ready to take that leap forward?

December – Gateways of Winter

Gateways of Winter Eclipses, Winter Solstice, a final full moon and entry to 2021.

How do we hold still and embrace the uncertainty of the dark – of the seemingly uncultivated periods of our lives?  

Winter Solstice: the time that T.S. Eliot called ‘the still point of the turning world.’ A time to hold still, right there in the heart of the dark. A sacred pause, in the place between stories. It is the day with the least amount of sunlight in the year and marks the point where we begin to add minutes of daylight each day until we reach peak hours of sunlight in June. Winter Solstice is the festival of lights, is a time of renewal. It’s a time to immerse ourselves in the cycles of nature: of death and rebirth, of darkness and light. It’s a time to think about change and transformation, our inner voice, inner knowing, and a path forward. It reflects where we have been and a decision of what to leave behind and what to carry on. It is the reminder of our resiliency and unfaltering instinct when we trust our inner light.  

How appropriate that we end 2020 with the Lunar Eclipse on November 29, the Solar Eclipse on December 14, and the Winter Solstice on December 21. December 21 is considered the next “Age of Aquarius” moment when Jupiter and Saturn meet for the first time in millennials, at 0° Aquarius. What are the chances to have the two slowest moving visible planets of our solar system meeting precisely in the 1st degree of Aquarius? To many, this marks the official beginning of the Age of Aquarius. We’ve been feeling this energy since 2000. You can listen to my latest podcast – The Age of Aquarius – Looking Back and Forward, where I talk about the previous ‘Ages’ and what the Age of Aquarius represents. 

The Age of Aquarius will come with a completely different “operating system” – something we haven’t seen yet… at least in the last 26,000 years. The codes and keys that we’ve been receiving from the universe prepare us for this time and future.  We can expect new types of energies during this new Age (for the next 2100 years). Other likely developments are artificial intelligence, space travel, and connections with other forms of life. Because the transition from one Age to another is usually 200-300 years, we have already begun to experience advances in these areas. New types of energy are not solely alternatives to oil-based fuel but advances in our understanding of quantum physics and the use of energy for healing and regenerative capabilities. 

This era of ‘WE’ ahead calls for us to be more humanitarian while realizing many souls are still holding on to the archetype energy of ‘ME’ first. Aquarius is the most global sign of the zodiac; it rules networks and communities based on a mutual vision. In the next 2000 years, top-down practices, hierarchical cultures, or extreme political doctrines will be challenged. Some souls will remain in the past, and others will move into a new era of being. We will continue to try to bridge the gap in our world views. 

We push through the gateway on December 21 with the force of Saturn and Jupiter and the potential for something new.
Jupiter pushes on our search for personal meaning, our philosophy of life and purpose, optimism, hope, and a sense of justice and striving for spiritual growth. We are questioning who we are and what we are doing here, and if what we are doing here is enough. Does it make us happy? We feel greater frustrated if we perceive we are not evolving. We will push ourselves for change, get scared of the change, and either retreat or move forward.  

Saturn shows how much self-discipline, our strength of character, and your responsibilities. Saturn shows how we experience “reality,” where we meet with resistance and discover our limitations. It represents the conscience and moral conviction, the laws, and rules which we choose to obey. It also tells us about our powers of endurance and concentration.  
Transitioning from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius challenges us to heal and change our beliefs and patterns. 2020 hindsight creates the opportunity for reflection while giving us hope and clarity for a way forward into this new era and 2021.  Shine ON! – Happy Holidays
